For us, Le Patio Bleu isn’t just a bed-and-breakfast or a vacation rental—it’s our home and our passion. Having grown up in this region—a blend of vineyards and rural charm—we’ve always been passionate about its history, culture, and cuisine. After years of dedicating our lives to others, we decided to return to our roots and share
our love for this place with our guests.

Originally a farm building, this property—spanning over 450 m²—has retained its charm and spacious feel, with 4-meter-high ceilings and a living area of
110 m².
All About the Patio
Le Patio Bleu has everything you need to immerse yourself in the rural history of the beautiful South Charente region. Before opening its doors as a charming bed-and-breakfast, the estate was, in the 19th century, a small wine-growing and agricultural empire, meticulously organized around a lovely inner courtyard and a beautiful arched passageway—both of which have retained their iconic charm of days gone by.
Before the 1970s, all these buildings formed a single estate. Over
the years, the buildings have been carefully preserved and reimagined. The former outbuildings
have gradually given way to a peaceful and elegant living space. And that’s
where the magic lies: a beautiful balance between the authentic character of Charente stone
and the comfort and well-being found in all modern spaces.
Today, Le Patio Bleu continues, with great care, this tradition of hospitality that has
always been the lifeblood of this charming corner of the countryside, and which now offers us all the
understated charm of a rural heritage site restored with love.
