Nestled in the heart of the charming village of Ury, L’Escale Bellifontaine welcomes you to a historic farmhouse full of character, tastefully renovated to blend authenticity with modern comfort. The house features three cozy bedrooms, including a family room ideal for groups, as well as a separate cottage offering greater independence. Located in the heart of the Fontainebleau Forest, it’s the perfect starting point for nature walks and unforgettable adventures.
A moment out of time
The house is a traditional farmhouse from the village of Ury, like many others in the Fontainebleau region; it is part of a long-standing rural heritage tied to local farm life. We spent a year and a half renovating it before we were able to open in 2020.
The project involved creating more than 200 m² of living space with several bedrooms and common areas. We designed this house to reflect who we are, and for us, it’s truly a life project.
During the renovation, we chose to preserve the building’s old-world charm while adding a touch of contemporary decor.
We describe L’Escale Bellifontaine as a “family home with a family atmosphere,” designed for living together, sharing, and slowing down.
People don’t just come here to sleep; they come to temporarily make this place their home.
