Description

Imagine a grand old charmer of a house, you open the door and discover a monumental stairway dating from the reign of Henri IV, step out into the garden where under the shade of an ancient cedar, fruit trees mingle with the scents and colors of Provence. At the foot of mount Ventoux the Jardin de Mazan is an ancient home dating from the 14th to the 17th centuries, and artfully restored, the façade and the oldest vestiges bearing whitness to a long and intricate history. In the heart of the village but hidden from view, an immense garden invites you to cool off in the pool or relax in a secluded corner, hidden from prying eyes. Agnes and Erick provide for their two wheeled guests, secure garage space, for perfect serenity, table d’hotes in season and the sévices of a masseur with 12 years of expérience with cyclists, for a relaxing massage using essential oils. Four spacious bedrooms decorated by Agnes with her finds from local antiques fairs and restored in her own style, and all equipped with modern comforts.

Why did you choose to open guesthouse ?

« After a long corporate career, twenty five years of which in Spain, we decided we wished to take our destiny into our own hands and relieve ourselves from the stress of corporate life. Our strength is hosting, the reply was unanimous among our friends when choosing a place for a dinner a birthday or a party, Chez Agnès et Eric ! A « coup de cœur » was enough to push us to restore the house and return to Agnès’s native Provence.. »
